Lissu is a range of individually hand-painted products and made from 100% European linen. Designed by Lisa Tanner, they are inspired by Scandinavia’s fondness for functional simplicity and bold colour. Lissu products are designed to become your lifelong companions. Glasfurd & Walker worked with Lissu to create the brand identity applied to stationery, product packaging and brand material. On product packaging and stationery the logo is laser cut out of paper to allow the colour and texture of the product to shine through.

The Juice Cleanse is The Juice Truck's latest product to launch in Vancouver BC. The Juice Truck engaged Glasfurd & Walker to work on positioning, naming, identity, packaging, and art direction as an extension of their already successful brand.

The cleanses come in 3, 5 and 7 day durations with a total of 12 packaged juices. Each Juice Cleanse is designed to promote overall health, energy and happiness. The brand is not focussed around a diet or starvation cleanse and were carefully formulated with their nutritionist to achieve maximum results, with flavour and taste being of primary importance. A health conscious and ethical approach to cleansing needed to be communicated in an educational, yet light hearted and friendly way.The brand language is a development and extension of the Juice Truck identity that uses light humour and direct, no-fuss language and iconography to communicate their products offer.

As with many cleanses, there are juices that focus on nutritional benefits over aesthetic appeal, therefore brand imagery was created that highlighted the core ingredients and freshness of the juices with distinct style and colour for promotional and brand material.

Established in 2011, Beta 5 creates small batch, artisanal chocolates, confectionery, baked goods and preserves. Glasfurd & Walker have worked with Beta 5 to create their identity and packaging for their core range and seasonal products.

The name, Beta 5, comes from the form-5 beta crystal structure which is the most stable form of cocoa butter crystallization, formed through the controlled melting, and subsequent cooling (tempering) of liquid chocolate. As a result, the identity reflects this approach to the chocolate making process - a careful blend of science and craftsmanship.

The packaging design was a carefully considered and executed aspect of the brand development. Understated and refined, the packaging doesn't distract from beauty and vibrancy of the products inside them which are an exciting discovery.

FORM is Western Australia’s dedicated creative and cultural development organization that works to enhance the state's economic strengths through social, cultural and creative capacity building projects.

From top level government to grass roots initiatives, FORM's range of programming and scope of initiatives crosses the state and the globe. The issue they faced was in their ability to properly communicate this in a comprehensive and consistent manner. Communication was disparate in both message and aesthetic.

Glasfurd & Walker were tasked with addressing these issues. A full brand audit was completed, which identified the key areas to address. A new brand and graphic language were created, the website was completely restructured and redesigned and a comprehensive marketing package was created to extend the new brand and promote both the organisation as a whole, and it's individual projects and initiatives.

Glasfurd & Walker continue to supply ongoing creative services to FORM across all of the projects and departments, from place and urban activation to indigenous and regional development.

Visit www.form.net.au

Collaboration: Web development/implementation by Strangebirdlabs.
Services: Concept, artistic direction, brand development, print and interactive design.

The Canning Stock Route Project is a collaborative enterprise which shares and explores the cultures, histories and connections of the people, country and communities surrounding the Canning Stock Route of Western Australia. The project involves 9 Aboriginal art centers, 109 indigenous artists and a team of cultural advisors, interpreters, photographers, language workers, writers, curators and film makers

The project, in development by FORM since 2006, will culminate in major exhibition at the National Museum of Australia and publication in 2010. Glasfurd & Walker are in the initial stages of artistic direction and design for the project, recently completing the core identity, brand language and prospectus. We will continue to update this project as it develops.

Services: Concept, identity, brand development and publication design.

Midland Atelier is set to become one of Australia’s premier multi-disciplinary creative centres, scheduled to be fully operational by 2010.

Glasfurd & Walker have created a brand indicative of the Atelier's progressive and contemporary ethos, whilst drawing on its historic location of the Midland rail yards. This informed the development of the website, print based communication and promotional collateral, signage and more recently the exhibition design for the atelier's in house designers. We continue to work with MA on its greater brand development, communication and promotion leading up to and after its launch.

Big Room has launched a campaign to acquire and manage .eco, a new generic top level domain (gTLD) for the global sustainability and environmental communities.

The launch is a culmination of more than 2 years work by Big Room Inc., as well as almost 12 months of research, strategy, conceptual, artistic direction, design and production by Glasfurd & Walker.

The creation and communication of the brand design was predicated on two key concepts: it must speak to both the IT and the sustainability communities, and that "green" branding doesn't have to fall into stereotypes so often seen today in order to be clear in its positioning and offer.

Once establishing the parameters for conceptualising the brand through a rigorous research and strategy phase, the core identity and basic brand language was applied to the greater campaign elements such as the website, video and print based promotional collateral as well as corporate and policy documentation.

Collaboration: Web development/implementation by Strangebirdlabs.

Services: Concept, identity, brand design, artistic direction, interactive, print and merchandise design.

Big Room works towards the goal of making it easier for people to make green choices. As a company with a number of projects in the environmental and technology sector it was important that the identity was approachable to the market and reflected a company that looks at the "green" space a bit differently.

The identity was applied to stationery and website design, whilst Glasfurd & Walker supply ongoing design and artistic direction for a number of their projects and initiatives.
