Comparative Capitals is a publication documenting how successful Australia’s capital cities are in attracting and keeping young, educated and creative workers, fostering innovation and nurturing socially well-adjusted and livable city environments. It investigates the human, social, cultural and financial capital present in Australia's eight capital cities and ranks them in relation to Perth.
The project was a collaboration between FORM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Australian Bureau of Statistics, and features articles and essays from some of the world's leading authorities on city making and creative economies such as Simon Anholt, Carol Colleta of CEO's for Cities, Michael Cooney and David Hetherington of Per Capita, and Opher Tom-Tov of IDEO.
Glasfurd & Walker were commissioned to art direct and design the publication cover to cover. This included some 50+ information graphics and statistical displays to accompany the content.
